Celigo currently has an opening for an Account Manager with business application sales experience. You will be responsible for software subscriptions renewals and selling our software and services to our installed base.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years selling software business applications, ideally Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
- BA/BS, MBA a plus
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Excellent closer.
- Proven comfort and skill to navigate through all levels of an organization, especially at the VP and CXO level.
- Ability to clearly articulate a value proposition.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Superb communicator, especially on the telephone.
- Highly organized, self-directed approach to sales development, with strong ability to prioritize.
- Strong business development skills.
- Prior experience in ERP / Accounting or enterprise software sales is preferred.
- Technology savvy. Good understanding of the SaaS industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure retention of assigned accounts for both software subscriptions and services.
- Up sell additional software subscriptions.
- Sell additional services.
- Educate key contacts in assigned accounts about our products and services.
- Cultivate relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts to convert customer problems into sales opportunities. Investigate and become proficient with the internal business processes of these accounts.
- Build and improve overall customer satisfaction in assigned accounts.
- Strategize and present high level solutions and proposals through understanding of customer’s business processes.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospects/customers via the phone and web-based meeting software.
- Assist with lead generation activities when needed, including cold calling if needed.
- Follow sales process and update CRM system to track sales progress. Update pipeline and forecasting information.
- Maintain paperwork for sales commissions.
- Assist Accounting with collections as needed.
