We're looking for entry-level Business Analysts to augment our team. Depending on your skill sets and career goals, we have multiple career paths for you within the exciting world of Software-as-a-Service—ranging from consulting, product management, project management, product marketing, and many others. Given that we're a small company, career progression is expedited for ambitious, exceptional individuals who are successful in what they do.
Qualifications for an ideal candidate:
- Recent college grad with a Bachelor's degree (MBA is a bonus).
- Industry experience in some of the following areas is preferred but not mandatory: enterprise software implementation, project management, business development, or business process consulting.
- Must have experience working with external clients.
- Entrepreneurial, with the desire to build businesses, and willing to take the appropriate risks.
- Must be tech savvy and understand technology well, and can speak credibly on it at a high-level.
- Prior experience with CRM/ERP applications or on-demand applications is a bonus.
- Prior experience/involvement in sales is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills for solving business process and productivity issues.
- Receives minimal direction toward daily goals and objectives.
- Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Ability to take direction and work independently.
Responsibilities will include some of the following:
- Project management and coordination
- Assist with resource scheduling
- Manage project kick-offs
- Work with technical team to keep projects up to date
- Project manage & facilitate communication for smaller projects
- Facilitate proper knowledge transfer from sales to services to ensure the technical team has the detail they need, understand requirements, etc.
- Facilitate proper knowledge transfer to customer during transition to fine-tuning (primarily) and project close (secondarily)
- Ensure that administrative tasks related to projects, such as the creation of subscriptions, project status communication to clients and similar, are done in a timely fashion
- Training
- Conduct general training sessions for a subset of some of our products
- Functional consulting for SaaS applications
- Provide functional consulting around SaaS applications such as NetSuite and Salesforce.com including setup, configuration, basic customizations, business process engineering, etc
- Support
- Assist or take the lead on select support cases. Speak with customer if needed to get more detail. Act as liaison between technical team and customer in resolving these cases.
- Answer incoming support calls.
- Customer satisfaction & retention
- Work with customers to obtain customer testimonials, references, product reviews, etc
- Conduct periodic check-ins with customers to ensure a customer satisfaction
- Proposals
- Follow up on sales action items, including researching feasibility, working with technical team to craft a solution, etc
- Prepare SOWs or formal quotes
- Demos
- Conduct demos for select products and turnkey solutions
