Celigo March 2025 Release

Our March release is live!
The latest Celigo update brings a major refresh to the Flow Builder and introduces API Builder — a powerful, low-code tool for visually creating APIs directly in integrator.io.
Let’s dive in to the details.
Platform
Introducing the next generation Flow Builder
We’ve upgraded the Flow Builder for a more efficient, streamlined experience, making it easier to build and manage flows. The interface is more intuitive, and designed for better productivity. Plus, we’ve refined the visuals for a cleaner, more modern look.
The new and classic UIs are fully compatible, so you can switch back and forth without losing work. You can explore new features at your own pace while staying in control of your workflows.
What’s new:
- Compact view optimizes screen space, reducing clutter while keeping essential tools accessible.
- The redesigned tool menu helps users quickly find the right options without having to search through multiple menus.
- Clone option allows users to duplicate any step instantly, eliminating the need for manual rebuilding.
- Flow step bottom bar provides a clearer view of attached tools, making it easier to track modifications.
- Refreshed icons and a cleaner UI create a more polished, modern experience.
- Improved merge/unmerge function simplifies branch management, keeping even complex workflows easy to navigate.

Conversation style improvements for AI assistants
We’ve introduced conversational style interactions for a more natural, fluid experience with AI Code assistants for filter criteria and JavaScript Advanced field editors (AFEs). You can now engage in dynamic, conversational exchanges with these AI assistants.
Key highlights:
- Fluid conversations: Build filters and JavaScript code with natural, back-and-forth dialogue, and optimize the code with follow-up questions and clarifying responses.
- Scope management: The AI assistant keeps you focused on your central goals when prompting you for additional input to refine the code, ensuring clarity and accuracy of output.
Streamline flow step creation using advanced search, sorting, and filtering
Building flows is now faster and easier with connector-specific prebuilt flow steps displayed directly in the Create Flow Step screen, alongside your existing steps.
To improve reusability, we’ve introduced a side-by-side tile view, making it easier to find and repurpose flow steps from your account or the Marketplace. Instead of scrolling through long lists, you can search, filter, and reuse matching steps using natural language.
Smart suggestions ensure relevance based on your selected resource type (e.g., Export or Import) and the input provided in the flow step name and description fields.
You can also filter by:
- Existing flow steps in your account
- Prebuilt flow steps from the Marketplace
- Specific connections
This makes it easier than ever to find the right flow steps and get up and running faster.
Easier file path configuration with JSONPaths
Configuring file paths for Exports and Lookups just got a whole lot simpler. You can now enter single or multiple JSONPaths to reference one or multiple file arrays—making it easier to pull the exact data you need.
How it works:
- To reference all Attachment values in a single array, use:
$.W9Attachment[*].Attachment - To reference multiple arrays at once, separate them with a comma:
$.W9Attachment[*].Attachment,$.EandOAttachment[*].Attachment,$.LicenseAttachment[*].Attachment
This means you can retrieve data from multiple sources in one go, streamlining your workflow and saving time.
More power and flexibility for webhook integrations
We’re making webhook-based integrations smarter and more powerful by exposing query parameters and headers for use in transformations.
This means you can now dynamically handle events, streamline workflows, and process data more efficiently—all while reducing complexity and saving time.
What’s changed?
- Query parameters & headers from incoming webhook requests are now available in the field editor so that you can use Handlebars expressions for advanced processing.
- Built-in dummy data makes testing and configuration super easy.
- Simplified event handling – Instead of setting up multiple webhooks, you can now manage multiple event types with a single webhook by using exposed headers.
- Dynamic data routing & filtering – Extract query parameters like ?orderId=12345 to route or filter data before exporting.
- Enhanced security – Use headers like Authorization to validate incoming requests and strengthen workflow security.

API Management
Introducing the Celigo API Builder
We’re excited to introduce Celigo API Builder, a powerful new tool to create APIs through a visual, low-code experience in integrator.io. With API Builder, you can build backend composite services effortlessly – bringing the intuitive Flow Builder experience to API development.
Key features
Build APIs using a low-code tool
- Create APIs with minimal coding, making API development accessible to both developers and business users.
- Define API requests and responses, then add imports, lookups, branching conditions, and other capabilities similar to Flow Builder, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
The API Builder will be available in Professional and Enterprise editions in late March, 2025. It will also be available to all other plans during a special preview period through April.
